Just before Christmas Head Coach Craig ran a fun junior tournament as well as the junior presentation. This was a team Red competition for our juniors aged between 8-18. The day was so much fun and the kids loved the format and competitive play. We also gave out our end of season awards, photos below.
We are delighted to have a number of our club’s coaches, members and volunteers mentioned at this years Cheshire LTA awards on Monday 9th December 2024. Terry Smith, was runner up in the Young Person of the Year award. Terry has been a member at HLTC since he was 6. He has competed in Hoylake
The club AGM will be held in the clubhouse on Wednesday 20th November 2023 at 8pm. All members are welcome to come and hear about the progress the club has made in the last 12 months and future development projects. The agenda will be made available to all members via the website.
The 100 club draw took place at social tennis on Wednesday 11th September. The lucky winners were Chris White £250; Brian Treble £100 and Phil Cutts £36. Congratulations. The next draw will be at the Xmas party on 13th December.
Please be aware the clubhouse has been hired for a private function from 3 pm on Saturday 10th August. The bar and patio area will not be available for members to use from 3 pm. Members can book and use the courts as normal. We apologise if this causes any inconvenience.
The clubhouse bar and facilities are available for members to use before and after games. Please ensure that if you open the clubhouse bar that you take responsibility for locking up and securing the bar area/clubhouse before leaving the premises. If you are unsure about the lock up procedure or require keys to access the
The sign up sheets are posted in the clubhouse for the seniors singles, doubles and mixed events for the senior club tournament. The tournament is open for all members aged 50+. The standard is mixed and its a great opportunity to mix in and play members you may not have played before. TThe final is
The club tournament finals day will be held at the club on Saturday with the juniors finals starting from 11.30am and the adults from 1pm. Please come down and show your support for our finalists. The Seafood Shack will be providing seafood, meat and veggie burgers from 1pm and strawberries and cream will be served
The sun is out (sometimes!) and so are the sun parasols outside the clubhouse. Members are welcome to use them for shade from the sun but please remember to close them when you leave as they will take off with the wind!!
It was a lovely summers evening for Paella night on 22nd June. Thank you to the Seafood Shack for making delicious paella and to Joe and Dave for manning the bar and Dave who did a lot of the clearing up!! The club 100 winners were: Ro Andrews £250 Paula Goodwin £100 Steph Singleton £100
