Team Practices We will be running team practices for the Wirral League teams on Tuesdays 8th, 15th, and 22nd April at either 6pm or 7.30pm. Members are reminded to carry their litter to the bins provided on the decking in front of the clubhouse. Sharp objects such as metal ring pulls from tubes of tennis balls have been found lying around on courts which are hazardous to wildlife and our junior members.
Work is underway to transform the old play area into a multi surface play area where members can play pickelball and other sports. The court will be ready to play on in May, but the paint finish will not be applied until June. Further updates to follow.
There is a funeral for an Eddisbury road resident on 25th March. We have been asked to keep Eddisbury road clear of vehicles from 12 noon to allow access for the funeral procession. Hoylake has entered a mens 65+ veterans team for the LTA National League seniors knockout tournament. If you are interested in joining the squad to play doubles please contact Andy Benc on 0750 847 2992.
Craig and his coaching team are hosting a junior fun day on Sunday 30th March 2025 2pm to 5pm. Children aged 4 – 11 are welcome to come and try tennis and take part in fun games and learn new skills. Please spread the word.
The championships will take place over 2 weekends in March and some of our Hoylake members have entered in the doubles and singles matches. All ‘even’ age groups (40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s) will be held on 8th and 9th March 2025 at Bidston Tennis Centre. All ‘odd’ age groups (45s, 55s, 65s, 75s) will
