The committee are delighted to announce the appointment of a new Club Captain as we head into the start of the summer tennis season. Please join us in welcoming Sally Lazar to the role.
Sally joined the club in 2010 having never previously played tennis. After moving to Japan for a short period, she discovered a passion for the sport and took up lessons, which further strengthened her love of the game.
Over the past seven years, Sally has been actively involved in team tennis. She has previously captained the Chester ladies’ tennis team as well as the Wirral Winter League Ladies C/D teams, bringing a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to the role.
Clair Miller who has been the Club Captain for the last 4 years will be supporting Sally as Vice Captain.
With Craig’s advice and guidance, Sally and Clair will be completing team rankings following the team tennis practice sessions in April, in preparation for team selections for the upcoming season. If you are interested in getting involved in team tennis, please get in contact with Sally.
