On Sunday (16th January) Hoylake are facing off against Bowden in a Winter National League group match at home, starting at 12:15.
The tournament consists of three box leagues with five teams in each. The winner of each league goes into a play-off for the chance to progress to the next stage. Stage 1 is Cheshire, stage 2 – North West, stage 3 – North and stage 4 – national.
Hoylake are in Stage 1, however the Bowden match is pivotal. Winning the tie will likely mean that we are out of reach of our competitors and therefore likely to be promoted.
The tie consists of four singles followed by two doubles matches. Support from members would be much appreciated and should witness some high quality tennis. I hope to see you on Sunday!
