Defibrillator

Are you confident that you know what to do if someone collapses on court? Please watch this 2 minute video from the British Heart Foundation. I’m sure we all remember the incident of Christian Eriksen’s cardiac arrest while playing football for Denmark in the Euros back in June and we will all have heard how his life was saved by prompt use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). This demonstrates how important it is to make use of a defibrillator promptly in these situations. Please remember that there is a public access defibrillator on the wall outside Hoylake Tennis Club and so please take a moment to watch this two minute video from the British Heart Foundation. It tells us how to use an AED and emphases how easy it is to use, even for untrained members of the public.

Everyone could and should use a defibrillator when someone has collapsed and you can’t do any harm when using one. So please now click on the link below and remind yourself of the key actions to take.
