A message about National League tennis from Geoff Forster:
Hoylake LTC has entered the national Men’s 55 and over and 65 and over knockout competition for the first time in its history. They both comprise of four men to play to play 4 men’s doubles matches (each team member playing two matches each). If any men members satisfying the criteria:-
- 55 and over: must be at least 55 or over during 2021
- 65 and over: must be at least 65 or over during 2021
And wish to be considered for selection, please contact Geoff Forster on 07768 250090.
For information, the 55 and over Hoylake team is one of 32 teams entered nationally and will play Hale Tennis Club, Manchester, in our first match. The match is at home.
The 65 and over Hoylake team is one of 18 teams entered nationally and will play Bamford Tennis Club, Derbyshire, in our first match, again at home.
In addition, I’ve arranged to play friendly matches against the Northern Tennis Club, Manchester, on a home and away basis during the summer. Dates to be finalised.
