HLTC

As you all will be aware, we are a thriving, successful members’ club relying entirely on the membership to ensure its smooth running. A number of roles, key to ensuring our continuing success, are currently vacant. Each role would be eligible for the holder to serve on the Committee, but other than the Communications Officer that is not a prerequisite and should not put off members from applying.

Communications Officer

The purpose of this role is to maintain and develop the Hoylake LTC social media and internet presence ensuring a modern, attractive up-to-date projection of the Club. The key tasks are:

  1. Ensure the website is maintained with club news, events and external links
  2. Seek opportunities to use social media (e.g. Facebook) to promote the club
  3. Manage the relationship between the club and its chosen IT partner, currently Soapbox
  4. Review the LTA Clubspark package and, where appropriate, implement its functionality
  5. Oversee additional development or changes to the content of the website

100 Club Administrator

The Hoylake 100 Club generates about £3,500 of income and profit of about £1,200 per year. The key tasks of the administrator are:

  1. Promote membership of the 100 Club, ensuring all numbers are taken up
  2. Ensure members pay promptly, preferably through a Standing Order
  3. Supervise the quarterly prize draw
  4. Liaise with the Club Treasurer to reconcile payments

Clubspark Administrator

Court reservations are maintained on the LTA sponsored system, Clubspark. The administrator role is to:

  1. Maintain the contact database on Clubspark
  2. Manage regular bookings (coaching, matches, block bookings, etc.)
  3. Liaise with the Membership Secretary, ensuring all members are included in the database
  4. Liaise with the Treasurer to maintain subscription payment records on Clubspark
  5. Liaise with Clubspark Support to resolve any problems with the system
