Once the change to 45 minute booking slots is “live” on Sunday, Hoylake will be up and running for floodlit tennis on courts 3, 4 & 5.
The lights are operated by token. A token costs £6 and provides 45 minutes play. The slots for each court are in the grey cabinet in front of court 4 and access is by number lock. The four-digit code is the year the club was founded!
- Remember to buy tokens well in advance
- Pay the appropriate amount to the club bank account: sort code 60-23-17, account 79373402 using your name and “lights” as reference
- email alan.towersey@hotmail.co.uk who will arrange to get the tokens to you
- When you are ready to play, put the token in the correct box for the court you are using
- If you are playing directly after coaching, please note that the coaches have been instructed to extinguish the lights when their lesson ends. The lights will not come back to full power for a couple of minutes after you insert your token.
- Our planning permission requires us to extinguish the lights at 9pm. Any time remaining on a token at 9pm will be lost as the lights will go out automatically.
