Ladies, the following message is from Liz Mason-Home our Vice-Captain.
I am building a list of ladies interested in playing Winter League Tennis. There are 5 Ladies divisions, each consisting of 8 teams, playing each other home and away. Most clubs are on the Wirral, but Chester and Wrexham also enter teams. Matches are played on Sunday morning from 10am and generally finish between 12 and 2pm. Each team generally plays every other week. The season runs from September to April.
Selection is on a match by match basis so you don’t have to make commitments to the whole season but the more you can play the better. The minimum standard required would be experience of playing social doubles. If you are unsure, ask Chris or Craig, or call me.
