Lightning can strike twice!

The last 100 Club Draw for 2020 took place over Zoom this week, witnessed by the Committee as a precursor to their meeting. Both prizes were won by previous winners – Madeleine Haines (£360) and Steve Bolton (£120). We look forward to celebratory rounds in the bar once we are able to reopen the clubhouse!

Following the Prime Minister’s announcement on 4 January of new national lockdown restrictions to be introduced across England, the LTA confirms that regrettably all indoor and outdoor tennis facilities need to close and that this guidance should be followed immediately. The committee have agreed that HLTC will therefore close from today.  The LTA will continue

Updated Covid-19 restrictions from 30th Dec

LTA has updated advice for clubs and players in relation to the new tiers applied by the government from 30th December 2020. At present Wirral is in Tier 3. For formal social play: Both singles play and doubles play is permitted with people from outside of your household, as long as you remain 2 metres
