A message from Neil at Recycaball
We are very pleased to confirm that over the past 12 months, using donations of tennis balls from many clubs, we have been able to give a total of £9,987.00 to the charities that we support.
We donated to the following charities:
ANCHOR, APLA, Blue Elephant, Bright Ideas For Tennis, CALM, Cancer Research, Children’s Hospices, EOL Hospices, Make A Wish, Macmillan Cancer Support, Make A Wish, NSPCC. ROMPA, RSPCA, Tennis First, Tennis For Free, Tennis Fundraising, The Alzheimer’s Society , The Brain Tumour Charity, The British Heart Foundation, The National Autistic Society, The Parkinson’s Disease Charity, The Stroke Association, The Tennis Foundation, Various Food Banks, Veterans Lifeline, Etc.
Not included in the above figures is a £500.00 donation which we just made to the D.E.C Ukraine & also to The Red Cross humanitarian aid for the people of Ukraine appeal.
We also over the past 12 months donated over 7,000 balls to the following charities:
Under Privileged Nurseries, Schools, Children’s Homes, Rescue Centres, Dogs Trust, RSPCA, Police Dogs, Guide Dogs, Armed Forces Dogs.
I would like to say a big thank you to all the clubs involved for your continued support, as without you, these charitable donations would simply not be possible.
Many thanks to Trish Beck for organising the recycling on behalf of the Club, and continuing the venture begun by John O’Connell.
