The bar was successfully open for business last Sunday for the first time in support of the return of social tennis. It will continue to open on Sundays from 4.30-8.30 and Wednesdays from 6.30 – 9.30 pm. Orders are taken at the patio doors and drinks delivered there. Members sign in for the purpose of “test and trace”. Payment is by card only. No one other than the duty bar person is allowed inside.
The Committee reviewed the situation on 6th August. It was agreed that, other than for the purpose of visiting the toilet, the rest of the clubhouse will remain closed for the foreseeable future. The Covid-19 risks associated with members congregating inside in a confined space are too great.
This policy will be reviewed at the next meeting (27th August) and at each meeting thereafter. For the well-being of all our members, please make every effort to comply with these restrictions. Thank you!
