Recording and Publishing Images of Young People

Hoylake LTC encourages parents and carers to use photographic equipment to capture their children and friends playing tennis to support and benefit their experience.

If any parent, carer or spectator has concerns about inappropriate photography, this should be reported immediately to the Club Welfare Officer or Club Coach who will pursue the matter in accordance with Child Protection Procedures.

  • If anyone wishes to publish images from a Club event they must ensure they have consent from the parents and/or carers of the children prior to the event.
  • If a child or young person is worried by the presence of someone taking photos or filming, they should tell the Welfare Officer or Coach immediately.
  • Children or young people featured in photographs should be dressed in appropriate tennis clothing, covering the torso from neck to thigh.
  • Photographs should feature people engaged in or watching tennis and have due regard to age, gender, ethnicity and disability.
  • Any inappropriate images will be reported to the LTA Safeguarding Team and the Police.
