Wirral, along with other areas of Merseyside is now on the Government coronavirus ‘watchlist’ because of spiralling infection rates across the borough (Liverpool Echo, 11th Sept). Following the recent spike in cases and Government and Council advice, the Committee have decided to temporarily close the bar from Monday 14th September. The situation will be closely monitored. Closure will be reviewed on a fortnightly basis.
We would encourage players to arrive and leave the club promptly, and stick closely to social distancing guidelines before and after matches.
